Alberto is the Founder and Chief Executive of alva and a Visiting Professor at Cass Business School.
Alberto has spent the past 25 years working in the Business Information and Analysis sector developing decision-intelligence solutions for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to founding alva, Alberto worked for at a number of global business information companies where he held executive roles in the areas of Marketing, Strategy and Corporate Development.
Alberto has a First-Class BA Hons degree from the University of the Arts London and an MBA from Cass Business School.
Richard is Chief Financial Officer at alva, overseeing financial strategy and operations. Prior to joining alva, Richard was CFO at Quintessentially, a global business with over 60 offices worldwide and total annual revenue in excess of £60m.
Previously, Richard also held a senior finance position at Wall to Wall (a subsidiary of Time Warner Inc.).
Richard trained as an accountant at BDO and gained an ACA qualification in 2007. He holds a BEng (Hons.) degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from UMIST.
Alastair has held management and leadership positions in the media intelligence and reputation management industry for the past 10 years.
Alastair is a passionate believer in the science of corporate reputation analysis and its practical application to drive stakeholder value. He works closely with customers, analysts and academics to ensure alva’s methodology remains leading edge and constantly evolving.
Richard is a published research author and qualified financial analyst.
Prior to alva, Richard successfully built the first global infrastructure team for Clifford Chance, and co-founded a wireless tech company, taking the business from concept to profitability.
He also spent several years in equity research, with listed tech companies in the UK on M&A, strategy review and financial forecasting.
William is currently CEO of Credit Benchmark, a London-founded credit analytics company. Before joining Credit Benchmark, he served as the CEO and director of BISAM, a financial technology business acquired by FactSet Research Systems in March 2017. Currently, he is chair of the board of alva and a director of Big Win Philanthropy, a foundation that invests in children and young people in sub-Saharan Africa.
He formerly led several divisions at Thomson Reuters, the global information services company serving asset managers, bankers, and corporations, and was a consultant for both PwC and The Services Group, advising large companies and developing countries on growth strategies.
William received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in Finance and Public Policy from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
After a decade with leading growth company investment firms, Summit Partners and HgCapital, Oliver founded CIT Growth Capital to bring capital and partnership to profitable, growing businesses in three sectors: software, information services and online marketplaces. He also sits on the boards of Third Financial Software and Sportpursuit.
Oliver has an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an MA in Economics & Management from The University of Oxford.
Quentin Boyd is a Senior Adviser at Edmond de Rothschild where he has spent over 20 years as a corporate financier.
Quentin qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London and has an MA in History from Cambridge University.
Jeremy has led product management and engineering for among the globally largest analytic platforms in capital markets and digital marketing. He has guided banks, fintechs, hedge funds, and ecommerce companies adopting artificial intelligence and machine learning. Previously, he led product and technology for the digital marketing business of Experian, served as CTO for equities at Citi, and as CTO for investment management at Thomson Reuters.
Jeremy holds a BBA and MBA from University of Miami, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
