ESG Intelligence – Global Mining and Metals – Q3 2020

In the first of our monthly ESG sector profiles, we see the Mining sector average fall this quarter with a score of -6. Negativity is mainly driven by Community relations (-54%) Human rights (-14%) and Waste & hazardous materials management (-9%). Nine out of the eleven SASB-defined issue areas scored negatively on ESG in Q3.
